Pilot Bill Henningsgaard, a former Microsoft executive who was flying with his son to visit Yale. Henningsgaard was a vice president with Microsoft for 14 years.
Bill Henningsgaard also crashed in the Seattle area in 2009, though he survived after landing it in a Washington river.
It has been reported that bodies of Bill and his son have been recovered—as well as the bodies of two children who lived in the Cape Cod home. The children’s mother was reported as asking for help for her children inside; rescuers report that the wing of the plane was on top of her infant child’s crib.
