Two months from today could begin the countdown of the end of the world as we know it.
The idea is that the stars as spoken of in Revelation appear on September 23, 2017.
In Revelation 12 there is a sign described in heaven, a woman in stars, crowned, gives birth to a baby. You will not be able to see the stars of September 23rd, as she’s also ‘clothed by the sun’ like the description in Revelation.
Daniel’s prophecy indicates a ‘last week’ or a Hebrew way of saying ‘seven years’.
It is that seven years that the woman of Revelation 12 delineates. The first half is 1,260 days, with the second half of 3.5 years.
Her story looks back in Revelation through the period of the seven trumpets and the two witnesses, and forward to the time of the end.
Daniel speaks to the second half being more precisely 1,290 days, or 3.5 years plus an intercalary month of an extra 30 days.
These 1,260 and 1,290 days together fit perfectly between the Feast of Trumpets 2017 which convene the night before these stars, and the Day of Atonement 7 years later, 2024.
Christ comes ‘as a thief in the night’ and the woman is ‘given two wings of a great eagle to fly’.
Meanwhile, Passover 2033 marks 2,000 years, or two days, since the death of God’s son.
Whether you believe in God and the Bible or not, you may find the story compelling.
